The room was clean, the staff were great, and the price was budget-friendly. They also offer weekly and monthly rentals. I'd stay here again next time.

It had the feel of a boarding house, which reminded me of my place in Jogja 🤭. For Banjarmasin, the price seemed reasonable: there was AC, an en-suite bathroom, a spring bed, wardrobe, dressing table, and towel hanger. Check-in was the tricky part. They ask for an ID card and marriage certificate, which may be standard, but what if you don't bring the certificate? 😆 Luckily, I had a photo of mine on my phone yesterday.

The mosque nearby was easy to hear, with the call to prayer coming through clearly. Our room on the second floor was small but clean and had air-conditioning. We got in late the night before an event in Banjarbaru, and thankfully the guard was still there waiting for us. We didn't get a chance to use the Wi-Fi.

I slept well, and the room was comfortable enough and clean. I was there overnight on a business trip, though, and the room didn't match the photos: the wall paint was faded and there were no windows. Service was mediocre, and there were lots of boarders staying there.
