The room was spacious and clean, and the forest was lovely. The staff were welcoming, smiling, and kind. The food was well cooked, tasty, and nicely suited to my vegetarian preference. I feel sorry for the nice staff, because the hotel is deteriorating and it's a shame to leave it like this. I hope this factual review encourages the owner to improve it. Other very positive comments hide a somewhat spooky reality. There are quite a few maintenance and finishing problems. The room had many exposed cables, though the electricity worked. Hot water took five minutes to come through, so we wondered if there would be any, and the wait wasted water for a warm shower. Some parking bricks stuck well above ground level, and walls had cracked paint. A window was stuck half closed and couldn't be locked properly, while the bottom lock on the rear door was missing. Some bungalows had signs saying “under maintenance,” though I'd call them “abandoned.” There were about 20 mosquitoes around me while I waited for check-in. I arrived around 10am.

We had a great stay, and I'll definitely come back. The room was really clean and very big. We booked two rooms for five people, and the food was delicious and quite cheap for a hotel. The staff were super nice and always smiling. I loved them. There's a badminton court, a swimming pool, and a cafe, and this place feels more modern than other hotels in Prigen/Trawas. We brought our rackets, so my family stayed on the property the whole time. My father and brother played basketball too, and we all enjoyed swimming in the fresh water. Worth every penny. The food was quite good, but there was no breakfast, and because the place is secluded, we had trouble finding any. It felt a bit spooky too, so be careful if you're sensitive to the other world. I don't know what happened, maybe the pandemic or something else, but what remains of what may once have been a beautiful property in a faraway land is a row of old, poorly maintained cottages. Most of the doors need replacing, including the front, back, and toilet doors. The furniture is old, the bathroom looks shabby, there's no warm water, and a few ceiling sections are nearly falling apart. Dirty glasses and plates from previous guests were still on the front porch floor. Hopefully they clean ours up soon, before new guests arrive. Don't follow our route over the broken bridge. We had to turn around and take another way, so we arrived around Maghrib.
