The grounds were dirty, and there was nowhere to park. Inside, the room felt cramped and had no prayer space, which matters a lot. The price was listed as 102,000 Rupiah on Traveloka, but on arrival we were charged 250,000 Rupiah, more than double, plus extra fees that felt very unfair. A mirror, clothes hanger, and mineral water were missing, even though I expected those at that price. The location was very quiet, and the security guard barely communicated, so it was hard to raise my complaints. I had to give it one star.

The front of the guest house was already a mess, and what we found inside did not match the Traveloka listing. I had booked a room described as having one full bed and one twin bed, but that wasn’t what we got. When I tried to complain, the receptionist was nowhere to be found. I called the manager, who said the app had made things up and told me to complain to the app. The product description is the app’s responsibility, not the customer’s. I felt completely deceived. I arrived before check-in time. After talking with the manager by phone, we couldn’t reach a solution that worked for both sides, so I turned around and left. I’d booked three days for 499,000 rupiah, and the payment couldn’t be refunded. I’d rather lose that money than stay in such poor conditions with such poor service. I ended up eating through my small change until it was gone. There are plenty of friendlier, more comfortable places at competitive prices. This was the worst place I’ve stayed, and I can’t recommend it at all. What a shame.

Seeing the page in such a dirty state really isn’t pleasant. They should present it more professionally and clean rooms promptly when they’re not ready. An unclean room shouldn’t be used as a reason to charge for an upgrade or provide something different from what was booked through the app.

The extra rental charge made no sense. We booked through the app, but were asked to pay more when we arrived. We had also sent money and paid a deposit for two extra rooms outside the app, only to find those rooms were already fully booked. The deposit wasn’t returned, with the reason given being additional rental fees for the rooms booked through the app. At checkout I dealt directly with the property owner. They deducted my deposit for supposedly missing the checkout time, even though our checkout date was the following day. We’d stayed three nights and only a few hours beyond one night.
