The rooms are simple and comfortable, and the garden is lovely, but what made our stay special was how warmly Halim and his family welcomed us. They included us in everyday activities, told us so much about local culture, and took us to watch the sunrise and see fishermen along Banyuwangi beach. This was our final stop in Indonesia and possibly one of our best. If you want to feel at home and learn about local traditions, I can't recommend Sunrise Homestay enough.

We came to this homestay on a recommendation, and I'd happily tell all my friends to stay for a few days. Halim and his family took such good care of us. We even got to join in breaking the fast during Ramadan, which made the visit a really special cultural experience. We left feeling grateful and fulfilled after meeting this lovely family.

The homemade breakfast was really tasty, and the owner was kind and attentive. Our room was clean, with fresh water, and the surroundings were pleasant. It's fairly close to Pantai Pulau Santen and the city center at Taman Blambangan. A great option if you're on a budget but still want a cool experience.

The garden is full of color and a lovely spot to relax, and the place itself was tidy with a tasty breakfast. Mr. Halim and his family made us feel so welcome. They were helpful and friendly, even joining us for dinner at a local restaurant and staying up chatting late. I'd come back next time I'm in Java.
