Ketapang Indah Hotel Banyuwangi

The hotel, restaurant, and beach all have amazing views, and I’d strongly recommend the place to anyone going to Banyuwangi. The staff give great service and always greet you with radiant smiles. The room isn’t well soundproofed, though, and my steak was overcooked. Still highly recommended.

The pool is really nice, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. The resort itself was fine, but management seemed less approachable. I’d expected a more luxurious experience, so check-in was disappointing: they gave me a different room from the one pictured on Booking.com, apparently because of their mistake. I ended up in a small room with very small windows and only got an apology. They offered an upgrade, but it cost extra, which felt strange since the error wasn’t mine. It’s a decent resort, but that check-in left me with a lower impression.

The food is the best, and the place is clean, calm, and quiet. It’s friendly to foreigners too. This was my first time in Banyuwangi and my first stay at this hotel, and it gave me my best first impression. I’d recommend it if you need a place to stay while spending a holiday in Banyuwangi. Very recommended 👍🏼

We had a very pleasant stay and would do it again. The garden is lovely, the pool is nice, and it’s one of the best sunrise spots. In the morning at low tide, the black sand beach is okay, though the sea isn’t clean, apparently because of the surrounding areas. The restaurant is okay, with all kinds of food and okay taste. There’s a factory nearby, and when the wind isn’t on our side, the area smells like cat food.
