The food was excellent, and the lobby and restaurant staff were so polite and friendly, especially the restaurant team. The room was comfortable, though there were lots of ants inside and insects all over the parking area. I also had a concern about the security officer being unresponsive. I came and went on my own. It wasn't a big deal with the road so quiet, but I hope he was doing what he needed to.

The newly renovated rooms felt damp and smelled moldy, and the wooden doors and hinges were rusty. At breakfast I asked three times about allergens, then used a translation app to confirm that a few dishes had no milk or eggs. My friend checked with the chef and found eggs in all of them. The chef later made special food and apologized, but the damage was already done. There are many trainees who seem misinformed, and when they're unsure, they say yes. I can't recommend this hotel.

The beds are large, the rooms spacious, and there's a fairly big pool, all about 10 minutes from Ketapang Banyuwangi harbor. Check that the water heater works before accepting a room, since it doesn't work in some of them. Breakfast was really ordinary.

The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was okay. They moved us from a musty, windowless first-floor room to a nicer one on the third floor. Food should be labeled in English, and the awful hallway Muzak needs to be turned down because it's disturbing. Hand towels would have helped too.
