For the price, this was a lovely place to stay for two nights. It's an older resort, but still nice, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was okay.

The bathroom was gloomy and dirty, with what looked like an unrepaired leak on the ceiling. The shower head was crusty, so the water didn't flow properly. Breakfast was another letdown: no eggs were offered, and asking for cooked eggs meant paying extra. The food was mostly cold and the vegetables undercooked, though the soup and cream soup were quite good. In the lobby, used plates and glasses sat piled up even with two reception staff on duty. They seemed below average in noticing what needed attention. Parking was frustrating from the start. The security staff were busy on their phones and didn't help much while I adjusted my car three or four times. After I'd gone to my room, I was stopped and told to move it again. I expected an apology, but instead got a rude “it's up to you” after I argued, along with the claim that I was also in the wrong as a restaurant guest. My business trip stay at this three-star hotel in Banyuwangi was disappointing. I hope management fixes these problems soon.
