The value for money was very good. Our spacious room had AC that worked well, and the lady was very friendly. She arranged our Ijen tour and a ride to the ferry, and everything was well organized. When we came back tired from the tour, she'd already prepared a free breakfast for us. Thank you so much!

The hosts are wonderful and speak excellent English, so they can help with whatever you need. We found it to be one of the best values we've had in Indonesia: the room was cheap and reliable, and they organized a Mount Ijen trip with a lovely breakfast. There are free water refills and a hot water tank too, so you can make your own noodles. Highly recommended!

Thalia made our climb to kawah ijen easy to arrange, and it turned out fantastic. She looked after us so well and made a really lovely breakfast too. A clean, comfortable place, and Thalia is such a kind, helpful person. 😁

The guesthouse room was a little noisy and the sink and other fittings were old, but for the price it was good value. I stayed here twice, and the couple who run it are among the kindest people I’ve met. They helped with my visa issues and even took me to immigration and the train station. We also booked the Mount Ijen tour through them, which was well priced and good. It’s easy to contact them on WhatsApp at +62 896-7616-9699 for a stay or a tour. Real Javan kindness. Thanks so much for all the support, and I wish Thalia homestay the best.

Thalia can also sort out onward travel to Bali without any stress, and I was really happy with the Ijen tour I booked through her. The breakfast is delicious, and the accommodation is very comfortable. I’ve stayed at Thalia Homestay twice now, and the owners, a husband and wife with two daughters, are such a sweet family. They make you feel at home. One of my favourite places I’ve stayed in all of Asia!
