The layout feels homey, and the pool is nice. Our room had plenty of space, with large storage and a big bathroom, though there was no separate shower area, so water spread across the bathroom while showering. The AC wasn't very cold, but still comfortable enough. There are a few good restaurants nearby, laundry is a two-minute walk away, and Indomaret is right across the street.

The price is reasonable and everything else was good. We recommend cleaning more carefully and replacing the towels and bed cover with new ones.

We were sad to leave so soon. There’s a pool, basketball court, and gym, and the rooms are huge. After a hot day, it was lovely to come back to a cold room, with water bottles topped up regularly. The staff made us feel welcome and answered all our questions. We were thrilled when we arrived. Definitely worth staying for Mount Ijen, and there’s a specious restaurant very close by.

The staff were so attentive and friendly, and during the Independence Day celebrations they put on games and invited us to join in like family. We reached the hotel by train from Yogyakarta at 6 am. Although check-in was at 2 pm, they let us use the pool and common areas until our room was ready at 12 pm, earlier than expected. Highly recommended!

It felt like a more relaxing home away from home. The rooms, food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. There are Indonesian dishes and more Western options to suit different tastes, plus a gym and swimming pool. The value is remarkable too, it would cost more than 10 times as much in Europe. Best hotel or homestay I’ve ever stayed in.
