The room was a decent size and the floor was clean, but the mattress was old, too soft, and really uncomfortable. The bedsheet was yellowish.

The older male receptionist was incredibly arrogant and had no manners when he spoke.

That seafood place we walked to left of the hotel was only about five minutes away, and Nagoya Hill was a quick Gojek ride, around 13,000 local currency or S$1.30 each trip. Love seafood is another one to try. The hotel itself is in a quiet spot, so at night I preferred taking Gojek instead of walking around. During the day, walking was fine. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable mattress and good aircon. The staff were really helpful and quick to respond. Breakfast was decent for the price, though it wasn't the kind of luxurious spread you'd expect at a five-star hotel. There was rice, stir-fried noodles, a couple of side dishes, toast, cereal, coffee, and porridge with add-ons like peanuts and ikan bilis. Food tasted good and felt like good value. I loved the stay and was pretty happy with the place. There's a fridge in the room, but no kettle. That's the only downside. Money well spent, and I enjoyed it! :)

The room was reasonably clean, and with fewer people around it was a nice fit for anyone who likes a quiet place. The hotel also has local food and Wi-Fi. It's not very close to the main road, and Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The street lighting is poor, so some people may not feel comfortable walking there at night. Still, it seemed quite safe unless someone creates an opportunity for trouble.
