Collection O Batam near DC Mall formerly S Hotel

I felt cheated by how different the room was from the attractive Agoda photos. The place was old, dirty, and crawling with cockroaches. It was also unbearably loud because a pub and KTV are nearby. For what it cost, it just wasn't worth it. I wouldn't stay again, and other people should be careful before booking.

The room had old furniture, a dirty bathroom, lots of cockroaches, and noise from the Pub and KTV next door. It looked nothing like the Agoda pictures I booked from. Staff said the pictured rooms were “fully booked,” which left me feeling misled and cheated after paying with different expectations. Rooms that guests won't actually get shouldn't be advertised that way. This false advertising is unacceptable, and I hope Agoda reviews the listing. I wouldn't return, and I'd tell others to check carefully before booking.

There were cockroaches all over the room, and it smelled awful. The bedsheets hadn't been changed, and the stain was still there. The lobby even had a different name. Worst hotel in Batam, travellers, don't book here. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The room had cockroaches, no hot water, a musty smell mixed with cigarette smoke, and a broken air conditioner that left it hot. At night, noise from the pub and karaoke room downstairs made it hard to sleep. Service was poor, and they didn't put customer requests first. The AGODA pictures showed a 4-star hotel, but the actual place was 1 star and far below expectations. They weren't responsible about the photos in the app, and when the receptionist said the hotel's superiors manage it, they had no reasonable answers.
