I’m sharing this as a reminder to keep an eye on your things during a massage, especially overseas. I didn’t stay at the hotel, so this is only about the massage service. The shop is right in front of Nagoya Hill Mall, and the prices are affordable compared with other nearby places. It looked clean and decent. But during my massage, I heard my pants fall from the hanger, then later heard my bag drop. I looked up and saw the masseur putting it on the table. A moment later I heard the zipper, while he was massaging with just one hand. I sat up, and he immediately apologized and returned the money he had taken from my bag. I didn’t stop the massage or report it to the counter. I felt awkward and didn’t want to cause a scene, especially since I was overseas with a group of friends.
