Lovina Inn Hotel Batam

The reception staff I met on Saturday and the two men on Sunday were polite and respectful. Today, though, two women kept calling our room and sending people to ask us to check out, even after we said we would leave by 1pm. Once we had checked out, we were waiting in the lobby for our car and wanted to use the restroom, but they said it was locked. The men had let us use the lobby restroom over the previous two days. I don't usually complain or review hotels, but this experience left me very disappointed with the staff's attitude. Management should advise them, and guests should be alert about the staff here. Thank you.

Clean, good value, and a good hotel. I'd come back in the future.

The room had a persistent smoky smell and was consistently dusty. On the weekly rate, towels weren't replaced and no extra water was provided. These things detracted from my two-week work stay, along with a billing issue that left me with a negative impression. I wouldn't recommend choosing this hotel for a future stay. I first paid the daily rate for a week while waiting for project confirmation, even though the hotel offers a weekly rate. After my project was confirmed, I told reception I wanted to switch to the weekly rate. The head receptionist, a lady, said that changing rates repeatedly could get me blacklisted. That felt surprising and unwelcoming. The security guard also consistently ignored our greetings.

The room was dim in an uncomfortable way, not cozy. We'd booked and paid for a non-smoking room with a window, but on check-in day they told us all the non-smoking rooms were full. Every hotel was booked that day, so we had to put up with it.
