The place feels deserted at night and is far from everything. Inside, the rooms were extremely dusty and the beds quite itchy. We had no hot water during my visit, and the toilet had cracks. Breakfast was average, and the old-looking hallways need cleaning.

The room facing southwest gives you a view of the iconic huge “welcome to Batam” sign. The rate is cheap, and the room and bathroom were clean, but the property could use a little renovation. Meals are standard for an inn, with no high-class chefs, and the service is standard for the low price. This inn is mostly used for pilgrimage gatherings before people embark, so during pilgrimage season casual visitors may not be able to get a room.

The food and drinks were delicious, and the room came at a friendly price. The staff were very friendly and professional at their jobs. A very comfortable place, highly recommended.
