Studio Apartment Nagoya Mansion Batam

We had to switch rooms three times during our four-day stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which was the one good part. The hotel itself badly needs a full renovation. Room 2036 was beside the lift, with no soundproofing. Every time it stopped, there was a loud thud, plus ongoing lobby noise. We asked to move the next day, and they let us. Room 2061 was worse. The AC made a loud, irregular rumble, the toilet ceiling leaked, and the door wouldn’t lock. We only discovered these problems after returning from exploring the city. We tried to put up with the AC noise, but it kept us from sleeping, so we called reception for another move at 3:00 AM. Room 2053 was only a little better. The AC still rumbled, but more quietly. In all three rooms, the toilet seats and shower holders were faulty. The white bath towels had visible black stains, and replacements had the same marks, making it seem like they’d been used for far too long. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The room floor wasn’t clean and the towels smelled, so cleanliness was poor. The lifts were noisy enough to keep us awake at night. WiFi kept cutting in and out and wasn’t very good overall. Service was alright, though sometimes slow. Breakfast didn’t have much variety, and when we asked for two room cards, we were given just one. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The kids loved the room, and breakfast was good. I asked for an extra blanket and pillow, and we got an early check-in at 1300h. The front desk receptionist was really helpful and nice. I loved the service, and we had a pleasant stay for 3 days and 2 nights after booking 2 nights. Affordable price with great service.

The staff were so friendly and customer service was exceptional. Our room was clean, and we liked the food at the hotel too.
