The staff were brilliant, the bed was good, and all the amenities worked. The room and decor are dated but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast is basic Indonesian food, and this probably suits people coming from Singapore for a weekend who want a decent no-frills stay. It may not be for Bule. For what it is, I found it pleasant and good value.

The room felt dirty and was very dark. The aircon only blew warm air instead of cooling, and the basin leaked.

The room was big, but the bed was so hard that it gave me back pain. It wasn't very clean, the toilet was dirty, and the staff weren't friendly at all. Housekeeping didn't clean our room. At that high price for such low quality, I wouldn't recommend it.

Comfortable, nice room in the centre of Batam, within walking distance of Nagoya Mall. A few food stalls selling bakso and sate padang are nearby.

Nagoya Hill Mall is close enough to reach on foot in about 5-10 minutes, which is the best part of staying here. The room is small, but that seems fair for a two-star place. I skipped breakfast after sleeping in, though my family said it was fine. The amenities could use some improvement: one tiny shampoo and shower gel for two people wasn't much. I also couldn't turn the hot water tap, so my morning shower was ice cold.
