3BR Family Villa near Museum Angkut in Batu City at Villa Kusuma Estate 42

A good place for a family or group trip, with Transport Museum close by.

There were 19 adults and 2 children in our group, and the villa had room for everyone. It has 4 bedrooms, with extra mattresses that can be laid out upstairs. Hot water, cooking utensils, instant noodles, mineral water, sugar, coffee, and tea were provided. The dining space, long table, billiards, and pool are all together, which made a nice spot for the group to gather. There’s a divider between the shallow and deep parts of the pool. It’s in a housing complex with lots of other villas, close to Musim Angkut, Jatim Park 1, Bukit Bintang, and more. I booked through the Godain app for 1,970. Booking directly through the villa guard's WhatsApp costs 2 million, with no deposit. The Wi-Fi went out while we were there. Staff said it would only be a short time, but it was still down the next morning and remained out until we left. Otherwise, it was okay.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights with my extended family, and we were very satisfied. The villa has a lovely interior and complete facilities, and you get what you pay for. The caretaker was friendly, and the view from the upper terrace is beautiful. Every room has AC. There are doormats at the bedroom and toilet doors and a mat in the kitchen, small touches that help keep the floors clean. The location is convenient for food and entertainment, close to the Transport Museum. The residential area is all villas and has security guards. The villa was impressively clean, from the front yard to the upper terrace. The kitchen has pots and pans, plates, bowls, plenty of cutlery, dish soap, a stove, dispenser, cold fridge and freezer, instant noodles, coffee, tea, and water gallons that aren't refillable. The large, clean pool area has billiards and a carom table. The water was clear and didn't smell of chlorine. It's a cool, cozy place to hang out for hours. There's also a grill with charcoal and a fan for BBQs. Street vendors selling satay, soto, meatballs, ronde, and bakpao come by the villa, even early in the morning or late at night. The karaoke setup and sound system are good, and the internet is fast. A few things could be better. A garbage fire pit behind the villa made it smell smoky. The water heater was sometimes hot and sometimes not, and the AC needs cleaning because it wasn't cooling. The reservoir in the torrent tank near the pool should be checked or filled before guests arrive. On the second night of the second day, water stopped flowing upstairs.

We found this villa on Agoda and got a promo price, and the vacation was memorable. It’s right next to the Angkut Museum, with food sellers inside the housing complex in the morning, so finding breakfast was easy. The pool is large, and the long tables and chairs give plenty of room for chatting together. The villa was clean and comfortable, with complete facilities, smoothly flowing water, and nice-smelling sheets.
