930 Griya Imafa

This is an inexpensive, well-located guest house near Jawa Timur Park2, Batu Secret Zoo, Museum Satwa, and Eco Green Park. The room is small and the facilities are standard, but that's enough for a backpacker like me.

The only thing I liked was how close it is to attractions. The room was quite dirty, the toilet wasn't working properly, and the heater sometimes didn't work either. The staff were rather arrogant.

I stayed for two nights. Getting to JTP 2 on foot was easy, and mornings felt a little cool. After that, there wasn't much to like. The bathroom was so dirty that I had to clean it myself, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and the water heater stopped while I was showering in the morning. My laundry came back wet and smelly, too. The sheets should be changed at least every two weeks. I got itchy lying on mine. There was no AC, and although the mornings were cool, the room got so hot at night I couldn't sleep. My room was on the third floor, and there was no elevator, so hauling my huge bags up was awful. The owners should check rooms more often, clean before guests arrive, and be friendlier. They told me it was the same as hotels, but it probably wasn't. The facilities were just ugh. Please give guests better service. :(

It's close to everything, but the service was really bad. There are strict rules, like not being able to check out after noon, and there's no smoking area, so smoke gets everywhere. The bedsheet was unbelievably dirty. The shared kitchen had a spoon and plate but no fork, and the stove didn't work. The water heater runs on gas, with a flame inside it.
