The host was friendly, and the room I had cost 120,000 Rupiah. The bathroom is outside, with hot water, and there’s a prayer room as well as a smoking area on the second floor. There’s a kitchen guests can use, with a dining table, plus a lounge in the middle of the place and Wi-Fi. The location is close to Batu City Square, and it works well for tour leaders, drivers, and backpackers. Really great.
The location is handy, and the staff are welcoming. I found it comfortable for a night's sleep without spending much. There's hot water in every bathroom, a kitchen guests can use with all the basics, secure vehicle parking, and even a prayer room.
I slept well because the air stayed cool, even though there was no AC or fan. The morning was less convenient: the water stopped at 8:00, and I didn't get breakfast before checking out at 9:00. There was a stove, but the water jug was empty.
Hot showers were a real help in Batu City's freezing weather, especially when I was feeling too lazy to shower. The place is clean and comfortable, and it's near Batu City Square. The price is very affordable, too.
This feels like a scam. If the guest house isn't operating anymore, why do hotel booking apps still take reservations? I want my non-refundable payment back. Tiket.com, Traveloka, Agoda, and the others should take this guest house off their bookable listings.
