We went as a family with three adults and three kids, and the mezzanine-style room worked out well. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I liked the building's style, which reminded me of Greek architecture. It was definitely worth the price, and we'd love to come back for another family getaway.

The staff were really accommodating and nice, and the heritage building is beautiful and very clean. I could even see Mount Arjuna from my room early in the morning. At night, though, I sometimes had trouble finding my way back to the room. Breakfast was mixed: the porridge was good, the fried rice was just okay, and the pancakes were undercooked.

The view is gorgeous, and the location works well for reaching nearby attractions. Service was top-notch, breakfast came included, and the public pool was always clean. The WiFi was sometimes stable and sometimes not, and the TV only seemed to work in certain rooms. The price is on the high side compared with other options nearby, so I think it's more worthwhile with family or relatives than when traveling solo. Parking is spacious, too, which makes this a possible option for a Batu visit with a view.

We stayed here for a Batu vacation with the kids. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast menu was very nice, and the pool was good, though small. Parking was fairly limited. One thing to know: the hotel's location on Google Maps isn't accurate.

It feels more like a guest house or villa than a hotel, with a simple layout that has several Instagram-worthy spots. The room had a TV, AC, and basic toiletries. Breakfast was homemade, usually with fried rice or noodles, porridge, crackers, soup or soto, a chicken dish of the day, watermelon, and mini muffins. The muffin was my favorite, while the porridge was my least favorite. The swimming pool was really small, cold, and dirty during my stay. I felt the price was steep for the facilities, though maybe it was high season or just because Batu is a tourist city. Each room is for only two people, and they count the guests carefully, especially in high season. If you're bringing more people, you'll need to pay for an extra bed, and the charge varied from day to day.
