Graha Batu Mulia by OYO Rooms

The location was easy for me to get around. It’s just off the alley and near the main road, close to tourist spots, especially the town square. There’s a food stall outside, so breakfast was easy to find. I stayed two nights with my child and chose the first floor so I wouldn’t need to carry him upstairs if I fell asleep after the trip. For the price, this is a really nice place, and the wifi is fast and free. The service was very friendly, so I’m surprised when people say it isn’t good. The room had one bed, enough for two adults and a child, plus a wardrobe, table, chair, and TV that was already on. No fan, but honestly it gets chilly in Batu by afternoon and evening. If you do need one, there’s a small trendy fan. Rooms are separated by plywood, though, so little kids can make a lot of noise. I didn’t use the shared kitchen for cooking, even though they offered to make food or drinks. I only washed my lunch containers from home. There are three bathrooms on the first floor with sitting toilets, showers, water heaters, and faucets for ablution. I found the place clean while I was there. One person did pee and not flush during the day, but the cool weather meant I didn’t smell it. I’d book again for my next holiday. It’s a shame I didn’t get photos because the place was really good. I left half a gallon of water behind. Hope this is useful.

There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance, and markets and souvenir shops are nearby too. Batu Terminal is very close, and you can get here by Trans Jatim bus from Malang City Station. The bathroom was clean and had a hot shower. Thank you 🤍

I’ve come back here many times because it’s comfortable for resting and the service is good. Best of all, it’s the cheapest place I’ve found in Batu City.
