Hidden Paradiso Batu

The rooftop is a nice spot for selfies and photos, and the pool was clean and perfectly adequate. The place is a little tucked away, though easy to find once you get there. Breakfast isn’t served anymore, but there are places to eat nearby, especially around Alun2x Batu.

We had a suite and really enjoyed our stay, from the facilities to the helpful staff. They even washed our car each morning. There’s no breakfast since the cafe isn’t operating, but Alun2 is only a five-minute walk away, and you can find plenty to eat there. The rooftop view is amazing too. We ordered food through GoFood or Grab and ate up there, so there was no need to find another restaurant. The suite has no window that opens, so fresh air only came in when we opened the door, and the Wi-Fi needs improvement. We’d definitely stay again on our next visit to Batu.

It felt like home, with a lovely view, clean and comfortable rooms, and nice facilities. The staff were friendly, and the owner was too. I liked the place from the first time I saw it, for no particular reason. It’s easy to find and well located. I’d like to come back someday. Very recommended!

The room was only so-so, and the location wasn’t too hard to find. The service is what really let us down. We booked two nights and paid for the first one, with the understanding we’d pay for the second the next day. Then another customer booked our room through a booking website, and we were told to move even though we’d reserved it for both nights. The receptionist offered no compensation. They need to make the service much better.
