It’s a quiet place for getting together, away from the main road, with lovely views and cool air. We didn’t need a fan or air conditioning. The villa has barbecue gear and charcoal, plus enough cooking equipment for a group, including a stove, pans, pots, dishes, glasses, and spoons. The caretaker was friendly and offered to arrange lemons and apples from local farmers, delivered right to the villa. The contact person was friendly as well. For a villa with such a nice view, the rental price is fairly low compared with others. Guests can also pick fruit from the garden for free when it’s in season. There are three comfortable bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. Altogether there are six single beds, two trundle beds, and a sofa bed in the upstairs middle area if the room beds aren’t enough. The hot water worked well at first, then became less reliable after several people had used it, which is understandable with a large group.

I've stayed at Omah Kayu Elok three times now when visiting Batu, and each stay has been great. The place is clean, and the parking fits several cars as well as a Hiace. Thanks 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I've stayed at this villa twice, and it's a comfortable place. On my first visit there was no new room yet, just an apple orchard. When I came back yesterday, the new room had been added and was great for family gatherings, with a kitchen too. It didn't disappoint. The downside was that the downstairs room's hot water wasn't working, so I had to shower cold.

It was such a pleasure to stay here with my extended family 🥰 The caretaker was very friendly, and the villa felt just like home. Everything was neat and clean, and it gets really cold in Mbatu, so there's no need for AC 🥶😆

Most of the villa and its furniture are wooden, just as the name suggests. The garden can be harvested, and there’s Wi-Fi. It’s tucked away a bit, but the surroundings are lovely, cool, clean, and comfortable, with nice spots for photos.
