Homestay Pelangi Batu

This homestay is in Batu, Indonesia.

The room worked well for a trip with family or friends, and the location made it easy to get to nearby attractions, even on foot. It was bright, cool, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well, though the heater didn't work during my stay. I found Pelangi Homestay over a long weekend after my previous accommodation felt like a prison. It was busy there, but management got back to me quickly, and the price was reasonable and budget-friendly. I highly recommend it.

At 300 a night, I found it a little expensive. The homestay itself was quite good, but the room had so many ants when I arrived. I had my child with me, and even after I used Baygon, the ants were still there. Their bites really hurt ☹️ The water also kept going out. I hope that gets better in the future 🤍.

My child was safe and settled there, and thankfully stopped fussing. I found the owner around the BNS area after an emergency came up: my child was crying about staying at his aunt's boarding house, so I searched for somewhere else. We got a room for 150 thousand with a bed, shelves, a TV, and a bathroom inside. There was a shared kitchen with a water dispenser, and some cakes had been left on the table outside.
