I remember staying at Metropole 15 to 20 years ago, and it has kept up its service quality for over 20 years. I was there again from Friday to Sunday, Juli 29-21. The hotel is right on the main road, so it's easy to get around on foot. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool view was nice. Breakfast felt worth the price. I'd give it an 8 out of 10, and it's a nice weekend stay at a reasonable price.

I spent two days at Metropole last week. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was okay, and the mountain view was very nice. I'd stay there again.

Breakfast was good and tasty, and the service was excellent. It's fine for a stay of just 1-2 days, but pest control really needs attention. I found a cockroach in my room, and saw a mouse in front of the lobby during breakfast. Sorry for being honest.

There was no WiFi or air conditioning, though the town is on the cooler side. The hotel is kid friendly, with an okay kids club and breakfast. It's not close enough to walk to the city center, and the rooms aren't soundproof. The bed felt rather springy, and the bathroom was tiny and quaint. At least the room smelled fine, with no smoke odor, but there were no connecting rooms.

Check-in and check-out were quick, and the staff were friendly. There's plenty of parking. The hotel has front and back sections, though, and if you get a room at the back and bring a car, you have to take a fairly long route around through local residential roads. From the front parking area, the walk isn't that far.
