Villa Hardi by OYO Rooms

There wasn't a water heater.

It was okay.

I booked by phone using the option on the Google reviews page. The owner said the villa no longer works with apps. For 150,000 Rupiah, I checked in around 7 PM WIB and got an upstairs room overlooking the hills. The place is down a small alley, but for a low-budget stay it worked well for me. There was hot water, though the flow was very slow in the upper rooms. They provided bar soap and blankets, but the blankets weren't very thick and there was no toothbrush. The room also had a regular hot water gallon and coffee sachets. Chairs outside made it a nice spot to watch the sunrise.

This was the first time a lodging booking really disappointed me. I usually don't complain, even when the price and facilities don't quite match, but I booked H-1, got confirmation, and even received an email from the app. After traveling four hours to get there, I was told they no longer accept reservations through online apps. An employee said I should cancel, then pay again if I still wanted the room. The app would refund only 11 thousand. I'd already spent time, money, and energy getting there, so this was enough to make it my first and last time booking here. I won't rent here again. If you're thinking of booking online through agoda, booking.com, tiket.com, traveloka, or similar apps, I wouldn't recommend it based on what happened to me. I ended up without a room and was told to cancel and pay again. If I could give zero stars, I would.
