Room 4's cupboard nearly tipped over when I opened it, so please check it. 🙏🙏🙏 Apart from that, it was a peaceful, clean place to rest during a holiday in Batu City. The bathroom was clean too, with a hot shower, and there was a dispenser for making tea or coffee.

The only awkward part was getting a car in and out. A narrow gate blocks the way, and removing the fence would make access easier. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, hot water was available, and the location is quite strategic, near the busy center.

The parking area is cramped, so anyone arriving by car might want to choose another hotel. Though it’s close to Batu town square, the guest house felt more like a boarding house. Staff chatted loudly outside and smoked so much that the smell reached the hallways and rooms, even with small children staying there. A real shame. The staff seemed unprofessional.

Free tea and coffee were a nice touch, and the staff were friendly. The hot water flowed well and the air conditioning was cold. I was happy with my overnight stay and would come back next time I’m in Batu.

At check-in, the receptionist asked for extra money, saying the price shown in the app didn’t match the actual price. If the amount had changed, the guest house should have updated its listed price so customers wouldn’t face an extra charge.
