JW Naungan Co Living Hotel & Villas

JW’s location is what brought me here, and I liked the concept and atmosphere for adults. I had a Deluxe room for one night at 600K, breakfast for two included. The TV channels worked, but it wasn’t a Smart TV, and we only got two pillows. I’d heard Executive rooms have four. The AC didn’t seem to work, but at midnight it felt like too much hassle to complain. The water dispenser was empty and stayed that way until checkout. For the deposit they only accept cash or an ID card, which I wouldn’t recommend handing over. I wouldn’t suggest this place for families, it seems more suited to adults.

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with pretty much all the amenities you need and everything working well. The look is very photogenic, right down to the little corners. It’s centrally located in Solo, and check-in and checkout were both quick and easy.

The Executive Room was on the third floor and had a lovely view of the pool. It was roomy, with four pillows and a clean, minimalist design. The outdoor pool is nice, though small, and there are bikes available, perhaps for rent, but I didn’t ask the price. The area is peaceful and still close to Jalan Slamet Riyadi. We slept well despite hearing the adzan from the nearby masjid and some chickens from the house behind the hotel. One thing to keep in mind: Executive Rooms are in another building without an elevator. Staff helped carry our luggage, but I wouldn’t recommend those rooms if stairs are difficult for you. Breakfast is a la carte, not a buffet. A good choice if you want a quiet stay near the city center.

It’s in a handy location, but live music went on late every night and I couldn’t enjoy the stay. If you turn in early, this probably isn’t the place for you.
