The Singhasari Resort

Breakfast runs in three planned sessions, so it feels more comfortable and less crowded. The pool is large and stays open into the evening, and the facilities are well equipped. Singhasari Resort Batu was a peaceful, pleasant choice for our family, and everything felt well managed. 🌿

The hotel service really impressed us. Our son accidentally left his tablet in the lobby at checkout, and we only noticed well after leaving. We called reception right away, and thankfully they had found it and kept it safe. We also had a pleasant stay, with excellent activities and facilities for kids. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

We stayed with our baby on March 18, 2026, and the experience was awful. Room 2222 had a broken AC and a water heater that barely worked. Our baby had to be showered in almost cold water that afternoon. My husband called to report it, and the staff member said a technician would come in 15 minutes. We waited nearly an hour and called three times, but nothing was done. The room was so hot and uncomfortable that we were exhausted and our baby was crying. Only after my husband went to reception did they take action and move us. At 7:45 p.m. we had to pack everything and change rooms. We were upset and tired. For a five-star hotel, I expected basic standards and checks. AC and hot water are basic facilities. We paid more than at our previous hotel, Golden Tulip, expecting a better room and service, but that wasn't what we got. The next morning, March 19, we went to breakfast. My husband asked for a baby chair and a seat inside the restaurant. Staff said all the baby chairs were in use and the inside was full, so we sat outside near the hostess. About five minutes later, another guest asked for a baby chair. The staff member said to wait and that he'd look for one. We were so upset. Why wasn't the same effort made for us? After my husband complained and asked why, they gave us a baby chair and moved us inside. The service at breakfast was terrible, and we're absolutely not coming back.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of tasty choices, and the staff were super friendly. I also slept very comfortably in a good room with a great bed. The Singhasari Resort is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Indonesia. I’d definitely return if I’m in the Batu, Malang area.
