The view is fantastic, and the place is good for a low-cost stay. My room, 101, smelled like someone hadn't flushed the toilet properly. The hot water also seemed insufficient, maybe because someone had used too much, and the towel had a gray tint. Still, I had a good stay, especially for the price and view.
We were lucky to get the second floor, looking out at Kebun Bonsai, and the sunset that day was lovely. The room had the things we needed, including a clean space, a soft bed, hot shower, and adequate amenities. The smart TV was a nice extra for streaming or games. Staff were nice, access was easy, and the view was great. A very affordable place to stay in Batu.
The pool is small, and it wasn't open for swimming during the pandemic. The room was average, and sometimes the shower water wasn't hot enough. Still, the surroundings felt calm and refreshing, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the place has a great ambience. A good budget hotel.
The hotel is easy to find, behind Batu's mayor's office. My room was nice, with a clean bedroom, working AC, hot water, and a television. I forgot to take any photos.
The hot water did work, but the stay wasn't what the pictures suggested. They took us to a two-storey house with lots of "kos-kosan" rooms, about a three-minute drive away. Check carefully where you'll be placed. The bed was a small queen, the blanket was dirty, and the towels were worn and dark.
