Villa Keenan - Three Bedroom

The second floor was really comfortable, and even without air conditioning it stayed cool. The private pool is spacious, the kitchen is great, and the town square is very close.

There was a hole in the upstairs floor by the window that opened down into the living room, so there was no privacy. You could hear people talking downstairs, and I couldn’t sleep while a group was still making noise in the living room. The villa also didn’t look like the photos. The room was messy and dirty, especially by the pool, where the synthetic grass was in bad shape. When we first walked in, the place smelled of chlorine. The biggest problem was having no water. We checked in at 2, reported it right away, and by 8 PM there still wasn’t any. The explanation was that they’d only just learned the PDAM supply was out. We were told water had been ordered, but heard nothing for hours. Since another relative had made the order, I thought it was being handled, but eventually I called myself and was already impatient. They angrily told us to buy a gallon jug and threatened to give us a bad rating before they would buy one. That was around 8:30. A guest had to carry the jug upstairs and downstairs to the bathroom, and the bucket was so small it couldn’t be filled in one go. I was pregnant and kept having to make trips to the toilet, and even in the morning I had to wake my husband to pour water. It was exhausting, especially when all I wanted was to rest. Some relatives had already peed, and with no water the mess spread everywhere. It was gross and stinky. If you rent out a villa, you should know where to get replacement water, or at least go buy a gallon jug. There was also water dripping onto the downstairs living room sofa, which got it all wet. I don’t know where the leak was coming from, maybe the upstairs bathroom. The stay cost 500,000 Rupiah per room, and I was heartbroken and regretful. This ruined my vacation, and the owner offered no compensation or apology.
