There’s room for 8-12 people, so this villa worked well for our large family when we wanted to rest and relax in Batu-Malang. It’s in a housing complex where many places are used as villas or executive long-stay rentals. The road there is a little narrow, and passing another car can feel cramped. Tourist attractions are quite close. The house has high-speed Wi-Fi, basic cooking supplies, and a smart door lock with a code, so there’s no key to hand over. If the gas runs out, call the villa guard and they’ll bring more. The bathroom has a cold-water shower and hot water. There’s a garage in front, though it’s a bit narrow, so parking outside the yard seems better. A few things to know: it has no AC, so bring a mini fan if you’re worried about the daytime heat. There’s no mosquito net, and forest mosquitoes come out at night, so mosquito spray is useful. The villa also doesn’t provide tissues or towels. I’d call before check-in and ask them to air out cigarette and other smells, change the sheets, empty the trash, top up the electricity token, replace the gas with a full tank, mop oil off the kitchen floor, replace any broken bulbs, and send the door code. That way you can get in right away instead of waiting for the guard, which could be uncomfortable in the rain. Those are just tips from my experience. Overall, I’d recommend the villa.
