Villa Wukir 8 by N2K

Wi-Fi barely reaches the room and is painfully slow. The bathroom is cramped, the water pressure is weak, and the shower doesn't work. The place also has a haunted feel to it. 👎👎👎 For the same class, I've stayed in cheaper villas with cleaner rooms, better water flow, and faster Wi-Fi.

The second floor has a twin bedroom, a shower with an electric water heater and a small bucket, plus a little balcony rack for drying towels. There's also a storage room, but the owner keeps it locked. Downstairs, there's an Android STB, fast Wi-Fi, a sofa bed that opens into a bed, and a queen bed with a wardrobe and outlet. The toilet has no hot water and comes with a small bucket. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cutlery, knives, pots, pans, two gas cylinders, two gallons of mineral water, and a Magic com. If the Wi-Fi goes down or the STB breaks, contact the owner to get it fixed. I booked Wukir 8, then got moved to Wukir 15 because someone at Wukir 8 extended their stay. That worked out okay since I had four noisy kids with me, and we were tucked away in a corner so we didn't bother people much. I've been here four days and am still staying. It's affordable for a similar villa, especially this close to the city center. The building is small, but with two extra beds it can fit 10-15 adults. Jatim Park 1-2-3 and BNS are nearby. Food sellers are around in the morning for porridge, fried snacks, meatballs, and spring rolls, and satay in the evening. Parking is ample. Cooking your own food is cheaper, since you can bring ingredients or buy vegetables nearby. The lights are dim outside the bathroom and toilet, and some first-floor outlets are loose or sticking out of the wall, which could be dangerous for kids. Those issues felt minor next to the positives, and I'm very satisfied.

I was given a room upstairs, and by the time I got there around 11:30 at night I was exhausted and sleepy. The second-floor atmosphere felt a little unsettling, so I put on a murottal to help myself fall asleep quickly. 😂

The kitchen and toilet had cockroaches, and the place could've been cleaner. Still, it was comfortable enough, though a bit cold, and the lighting was dim. There was food delivery too, as shown in the photos. I went to Batu City and Malang with friends after getting tired of staying home. At first I just wanted a change of bed, then I looked for a budget villa. I found this one through a lodging app and booked over WhatsApp. The price was mid-range, and splitting it among more people makes it more economical. I stayed at Wukir No. 12. The location is handy, with people selling meatballs, rice, and satay around at all hours, and the food is quite affordable. The villa has Wi-Fi, Android TV, a refrigerator, a bathroom, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a sofa bed. That's all, thanks. 22 August 2021. God bless.
