Three Eight Front One Boutique Batu

There are plenty of food options just outside, and the hotel is easy to find. The staff were very friendly and explained things clearly. I also found the room quality good for the price, and the hotel food was fairly cheap. The facilities include toiletries, mineral water, coffee and tea. The bathroom smelled nice and the hot water worked well. A few things could be better. There was dirt behind the bathroom door and on top of the mattress, and at times the room had an unpleasant damp smell. The WiFi was so bad I preferred not to use it. I could also hear noise from the neighboring room because the soundproofing wasn't great.

In Batu, this is a great place to stay without spending much!

That rooftop lounge has a breathtaking view of Batu, and the room was clean and tidy. The staff were kind and helpful, worth five stars on their own. The location is nice too. I took off one star because the WiFi was slow, the pool couldn't be used, and the hot water took 15 minutes to come through.

A mini mart across the road was one plus. Otherwise, this felt like the most basic hotel I've stayed in, and I travel several times a year. There was no fridge, safe, TV, creamer, chairs, cupboard, or bar of soap. The towels were old and worn out. I can't think of what else was there. Worst hotel for me.
