The room was decent, with bamboo accents, a working fridge, and AC. The free canoe and bike rides during your stay really impressed me, when the equipment is available. Worth staying at for a Batukaras vacation. They deserve five stars!

I only did the river cruise, didn't stay overnight, and it was a great experience! The boat goes from the river to the nearby beach delta at batu karas. On the way, you pass greenery, mangroves, and a steel bridge. Very relaxing. The boat can fit 20-30 people. I paid Rp 750.000 for a return trip for one boat, which seemed reasonable. Tickets may be available through traveloka in the near future. There aren't boats for smaller groups, so solo travelers or groups of two or five might find a canyon cruise at Green Canyon more reasonable. Their boats fit 5-8 people and offer a pretty similar experience, with a fascinating cave at the end.

On our second day, we suddenly found out that the two big rooms we'd booked had become regular rooms, even though we'd reserved three big rooms for 18 people. The manager blamed a problem with traveloka, and I only got confirmation at 9 p.m. What a joke. We did get another homestay in the end, but I won't come back or recommend the resort to my colleagues.

We stopped here to break up our journey. The room was comfortable, with a fridge and water dispenser. Breakfast was served by the river.
