We weren't told in advance that the extra bed would cost 200k IDR, even though the room rate was 350k IDR. Breakfast at that extra-bed rate still covered only two people. Housekeeping also wasn't daily unless we asked, and towels, tea bags, sugar, and coffee weren't replenished each day.

The place itself is nice, but the bed wasn't great. Hot water didn't work, and the towels looked pretty rough, though the toiletries were okay. Breakfast wasn't very good, but it can still put you in a better mood, so I'd recommend it 👍

Ms. Dian is what made this hotel my favorite. She was kind and helpful, and did a lot for me during my trip to tanah datar, when I went to the district to see a Pagaruyung.

The staff were very kind, and the room was clean. The hotel is in a very good location in Batusangkar, West Sumatera, with beautiful scenery and a lovely setting for a stay.
