Being close to the beach is a plus, but our arrival at 11 PM was rough: the water was shut off for repairs and only returned around dawn. The toilet and faucet were broken and dirty, and the place looked neglected.

The event hall worked for about 50 people seated at round tables, and the hotel served us a buffet lunch. The menu was ordinary, though the food was tasty and had that filling, home-cooked feel. I didn't see the rooms. The hotel is older, so its interior doesn't look as nice as newer places, but it was clean and comfortable. There's a large lobby with two groups of sofas, and the site is near Panjang Beach with easy access and fairly spacious parking.

It was quiet when I stayed with my family, with no other guests around. Maybe that reflects the lack of upkeep, though the rooms themselves were fairly clean and very comfortable for families. The spot by Panjang Beach is strategic. Some entertainment or a promotion might help draw visitors back.

Right opposite Panjang Beach, the hotel is also near Bencoolen Indah Mall and less than five minutes from the city center. It has guest rooms, restrooms, a party hall, and parking for both cars and motorcycles. COVID-19 health measures are currently in place.
