Dancing Nusa Dua Villa

The interior looks good and modern, and the manager is really friendly and hospitable. But some areas, like the bathroom and toilet, were dirty. They said they'd check and clean the whole house every two days, but they didn't, which was disappointing. On the first day, the linens hadn't been changed when we arrived. Luckily I was there to speak up. The water was off on the second day. They said there was a problem with the PDAM water tanks, so we couldn't use the service. On the third morning, the electricity went out. The swimming pool was dirty too, and the water engine from the tanks was noisy whenever you turned on the water in the house. A friend also felt uncomfortable, as if someone was watching us when nobody was there. We felt uneasy.

We came as a whole family, but the rooms were in terrible condition and didn't match the description or photos. They were very dirty, with lots of mold on the walls and ceiling, cobwebs and dirty towels. The parquet floor was broken, and the air conditioner was dirty, smelled awful and wouldn't switch off. When we asked them to fix it, they offered another room for an extra 450,000 Indonesian rupiah. The pool was dirty, and there was an abandoned house nearby. Service and the attitude toward guests were terrible. We waited a couple of hours for the villa owners to respond. I don't recommend it to anyone.

We had a great family stay at Dancing Villas in late January. The staff were always smiling, extremely friendly and helpful. The villas were clean and tidy, and the rooms were serviced daily. They also have a shuttle to take you anywhere in Nusa Dua, which made days out and dinners easy. The restaurant needs attention, though, as the food was very average. Even so, we'd recommend the villa.

The check-in and checkout were smooth, and the price makes Dancing Villas Nusa Dua (Villa Allegra) an affordable option in Nusa Dua. The beds were comfortable, with clean, soft bedding, and the pool was clean and well kept. A few things need attention. The floors weren't as clean as I'd have liked, the sink in our unit was damaged, and the kitchen didn't have enough equipment, which made preparing meals difficult. One shower and the kitchen also had no hot water, a real inconvenience in the mornings and late evenings. With better cleaning and some repairs, this could be a good budget stay.
