Jimbaran Cliffs Private Pool Hotel & Spa

The view from the pool was the one real highlight. The pool area was nice, but the stay was barely comfortable and felt overpriced, so I wouldn't return with so many other Bali hotels to choose from. I was on a work trip and hardly spent time there, which was lucky. The listing and reviews looked decent, but there were too many basic details missed: my airport pickup request wasn't read, so I had to call after arriving in Bali. The AC dripped onto the bed, and the outlets weren't placed well for charging by it. Water came in 330ml plastic bottles, just one per person each day, despite the hotel's stated environmental concern. The kitchen couldn't be used, with no gas tank or pots and pans. Staff said it had to be requested in advance, although the OTA booking said a kitchen was available. After showering, water sat around because of the drain placement. The sink light buzzed, and the faucets and basins were arranged so poorly that I splashed myself several times. The food was mediocre and expensive.

That deep soaking pool was amazing, and the service was 100 percent. Each villa has its own pool, though the shared pool area I saw could use some attention. It's beautiful and secluded, better suited to honeymooners. If you want nearby amenities, there isn't much around, but the villa has a car if needed.

Avoid. This place is a building site, with no reception, men grinding away, and building materials all over a filthy forecourt. I wasted 400k on taxis to get there. It's in the middle of nowhere, and not worth the 4mil a week they're asking. They aren't very forthcoming about it being a construction site.

It's a nice private hotel on a cliff, with spacious apartments, good room facilities, and a beautiful bathroom. The secluded outdoor pool is lovely. There's a restaurant open from 7am-11pm, the same hours as reception, and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Just be aware it's quite far from the main street.
