The staff were the real highlight, so welcoming and keen to make sure we had a great stay. The resort itself is a lovely little oasis, with a pool to cool off by and a restaurant serving food and drinks. Our room was spotless, with air conditioning, a comfy bed, a nice en suite, and even a flat screen TV for Netflix and Prime. It’s about a five minute scooter ride from the beachfront, and costs a fraction of staying right there. What a beautiful little place.

There’s a free shuttle to and from the beach, which is about 1 km away, and food stalls are only 200-400 m from the hotel. The hotel is clean and attractive, with a spacious pool area, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s no kettle in the room, but they have a drinking water refill station. The staff also kindly let us use the kitchen to fry eggs and make instant noodles. The rooms are a bit small, though for the location in Nusa Dua and the price, I still think it’s worth it. Our first room’s AC wasn’t cool enough, but they quickly moved us to one where it worked well.

The Balinese interior is really cozy, and the staff were friendly. We stayed in a spacious, beautiful bungalow after the standard double rooms we’d booked through Agoda turned out to be occupied. At first the receptionist said they didn’t have Agoda, and they asked us to pay extra for the upgrade. We paid, then decided they shouldn’t charge us for their mistake. I explained that the next day, they understood and refunded the money in cash. The main downside was the breakfast. It’s ordered from a menu, not a buffet, and the pancake I got was one small, thin, barely warm thing. Also, roosters on land behind a fence next to the bungalow woke us at 5 am. We needed noise-cancelling headphones to get back to sleep. Otherwise, it was a great hotel. I’d recommend it if you don’t book through Agoda and skip breakfast.
