OYO 618 Top Homestay

The room was clean and had both air conditioning and a TV. For the price, I thought it was very good. Ayu, who welcomes guests, is lovely, though we sometimes had trouble communicating. Google Translate helped. It’s a fairly quiet area, with shops not too far away.

The receptionist was helpful and kind, and getting there was easy, with Grab and Gojek available. The street gets dark and quiet at night. The stained bed cover and blanket weren’t very clean, but the place was okay for the price.

I had a comfortable bed, working AC, and good Wi-Fi in the room. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with hot water, and it was nice to have free bottles of water. Coffee was included in the morning, and chatting with the owner was pleasant. This beautiful, quiet homestay was surprisingly clean for such a low price, the cleanest I’ve stayed in so far in Bali. I’d definitely return next time I’m in Nusa Dua.

There’s good shaded parking, and the name TOP comes from the place being a little way up the road. The room needs maintenance: damp patches on the walls and peeling paint in several places, which also left it with a smell. They’d removed the Wi-Fi because of COVID, but the listing still said it was included. We understand they had to cut costs during a difficult time, but they should update the advertisement.
