Hotel O Pondok Dukuh

Agoda told me they couldn’t reach the hotel because the property wasn’t responding, and then closed my request without resolving anything. I still haven’t received a refund or a satisfactory explanation from either Agoda or the hotel. I was left with no room and no money back, and the whole thing felt like a scam. I booked OYO 90690 Pondok Dukuh through Agoda, then decided to cancel shortly afterward because of unexpected extra fees and what seemed like poor conditions. The app clearly marked my booking as refundable, but when I tried to cancel, the refund amount showed as zero. I was told there was a refund fee, yet none of my money would be returned. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend travelers avoid the property.

The bedsheet gave me a rash, and I left after an hour because I couldn’t stay there. Easily the worst stay of my life. They demanded 50% more than I’d paid on Booking. I’d rather sleep on the beach for 150k than stay here for free. Can I give zero stars?

We paid 5 USD through OYO and another 5 on arrival. The room was really bad, dusty smelling, too humid, and unclean, and the toilet was worse. At 130,000 rupiah, it’s highly unrecommended since you can find much better places. To the owner: please improve if you want better business. Don’t just take the money and provide zero service.

Think a thousand times before staying here. I went late at night and was told I could either pay extra or cancel. They didn’t explain that canceling after payment meant no refund. The price doesn’t match the OYO app, and I was very disappointed. Don’t choose this hotel or you’ll regret it.
