The staff are friendly, and at first the atmosphere seems cozy. But in rainy season, the place is basically unlivable. The house has mold everywhere, with water leaking through the roof and walls, and repairs weren’t done in a timely way. For nearly six weeks, we had to keep dousing the walls with chlorine to get rid of the mold. Then, the day before checkout, they went through all my clean cups and cheap cutlery as if I might have stolen them. I’d paid about $10,000 for six months, so that felt very strange and unpleasant.

We had a comfortable place to spend our days in Bali. The villa has big, spacious rooms and a huge kitchen, and its private pool was a great addition. The kids were beyond happy 😊

For the price, this Villa was probably the best deal I’ve found in Bali, and a real little treasure. Getting there was the one headache: both Google Maps and Waze sent me along the worst possible road. The villa entry uses a card, so keep it safe in your wallet. Parking was wide enough to fit an Xpander completely. Inside, the ground floor has a family room with two long L-sofas, a long table and a TV, plus a room beside it. The big kitchen and dining table are next to the stairs. Cooking supplies are included except for oil. Upstairs, there’s a chilling room in the middle and two family rooms beside it. Both rooms are nicely spacious, with good-sized bathrooms and closets. Outside, three sunbeds sit by the pool, which is a bit small and probably best for three people at most. The residence also has a public pool, billiard table and gym near the gates.
