The worst issue was the sewage smell coming from the toilet off the lounge room whenever it rained. It filled the living area, and although the handyman tried chemicals, each fix was only temporary. The villa seems long overdue for repairs and renovations, and we were very disappointed with its condition and the lack of response to our concerns. We won't take up the offer of three or four free nights after the renovations. There were many other problems too, too many to list in full. The kitchen had only three cups for the whole villa, no small plates or dinner knives, no pool towels, and no fresh kitchen cloths or sponges. Some tea towels were stained, and bathroom towels were changed only once a week. The gas ran out twice, leaving us without hot water. The second time lasted two days. A railing outside one upstairs bedroom was loose and wobbly, the mechanical plugs in the bathrooms didn't work, and the kitchen windows were broken and couldn't be closed. We agreed they could just be covered temporarily, but on day 12 I had to remind them before anything was done. One day an agent and potential customers simply arrived and started looking around without warning us in advance. It was very annoying. We booked online for November 2022 at what seemed a fair price, and the manager had replied quickly to my messages before we arrived.
