The Mulia Bali

Coming back to The Mulia after three years was every bit as special as our first stay. We had an Earl Ocean view suite with loads of space, a big bath, and a balcony jacuzzi for two overlooking the Indian Ocean. The pools were sensational, with their Grecian-inspired statues, and the resort was immaculate. The staff and their six-star hospitality were the real highlight. Angga the supervisor and Andre our butler were exceptional. Agus and Angga helped look after us on both visits, and smiling Suriya, Ardi, Pery and Putri made our indulgent afternoon teas lovely. At the restaurants, Fast Edy at Table 8 and Winnarta at Edogin deserve a mention too. Such rejuvenating hospitality. Terima Kasih Banyak 🙏

The staff made this stay feel personal. Almost everyone we met remembered our names, especially our daughter's, and they were consistently friendly and attentive. Dining was also a real strength, with plenty of choice and high-quality food at all the venues. Our room was beautifully presented and had top-of-the-range appliances and amenities. The Mulia's three sister hotels can feel overwhelming at times. The resort is luxurious, but not especially kid-friendly, and the kids' club and pool areas could be improved to match the rest of the property.

The service at The Mulia was better than at other hotels I've stayed in. Everyone was welcoming and warm, and the staff were happy to accommodate requests. Our butler, pak Andre, even arranged a birthday song and cake in our suite, which was a lovely surprise. It was our first visit, and the suite was huge, with a jacuzzi looking out over the pool and ocean. We loved all the food: the extensive five-star buffet breakfasts, dinner at the cafe, authentic Chinese at table8, teppanyaki at Edogin and afternoon high tea by the pool. I'd definitely recommend The Mulia for a relaxing break with five-star treatment.

Our family of nine spent five nights in the Ocean Suite at The Mulia, and it was a comfortable, relaxing place to gather. Everything was impeccably clean and maintained to a very high standard. Wijaya, our dedicated manager (butler), gave us flawless care and amazed us by remembering everyone's names and faces. The hotel team and Wijaya arranged a warm celebration for a family member's birthday. It touched us deeply. We highly recommend the place and will definitely return.
