The service was really nice, and the pool has an amazing view. You may be able to request an ocean-view room. The road there is rough, though, and there isn't a convenience store nearby. My room had a little cockroach, and the pool was dirty. Breakfast came with coffee, tea, mineral water, and what I think was syrup, plus bread, Nasi Kuning, egg, and a fish dish.

The room was clean, the AC worked well, the water heater was fine, and there's a pool. Breakfast was limited to nasi kuning, chicken, noodles, water, coffee, and tea, so I didn't enjoy it. The TV only had 9 channels, and I wasn't happy with the service for what felt like an overpriced stay. It's the best hotel in town mainly because it's the only one, so there isn't really another option.

It's a small place with a great view. Weekends get crowded, but I think it's still worth trying the pool with family.

Finding the hotel was confusing, and we had to ask local people where it was. The room facilities were great, though. A great hotel in Sangkulirang, Kutai Timur.

For me, it was worth the price for a one-day escape and an alternative vacation during the pandemic. Whether it's right for you depends on what you like.
