Lotus Residence

The five-star ratings gave a misleading impression. I wouldn't have booked if I'd known what the stay was like. The room was moderately clean and had good air conditioning, but overall it wasn't pleasant. The bed sheets smelled very bad and weren't clean when I arrived. They brought replacements, but I had to remake the bed myself. The rooms also had a strong smell from dehumidifier tablets, and loud construction made it impossible to have a peaceful stay. There are no sinks, so brushing your teeth or washing your hands means using the shower. The shower heads were broken and the water pressure was poor. I ended up using the bidet to clean myself, but it doesn't reach very far. The toilet floors were very moldy and hadn't been cleaned. People staying or working here didn't seem to understand being quiet or considerate of other guests. It's far from the main road and hard to find, so getting a taxi or delivery means walking a long way.
