I spent the weekend at this beautiful, luxurious colonial guest house, and the setting and decor made for an amazing stay. Maison Simba has three Indonesian-style rooms, each passionately decorated with antique art and modern pieces from around the world, plus a traditional rustic Joglo. It's in a charming spot among rice fields and jungle, with a comfortable Singaporean house feel. The staff are friendly, the homemade fresh food is delicious, and there are comfy living rooms and a plunge pool. Take time to share a meal with Antoine, the owner and interior designer. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a few restful days and a refined way to enjoy Tabanan's surroundings.

A gorgeous colonial Maison in absolute calm, with delicious food and a sublime swimming pool. The house's atmosphere is enchanting, right down to the carefully chosen scents and objects. I loved the beautiful white and blue living room. I encourage everyone to stay here, feel at home, and have a chat with the owner. It makes you want to come back again.
