The staff were consistently polite and gave excellent service. The room was clean, well maintained, and had all the necessary amenities. The pool and beach area were well organized too. It’s a comfortable beach hotel in a great location, just a few steps from the city. I had a pleasant, memorable stay.

We only spent one night at Exotica Resort in Bintan with friends, on the 30th/31st, but came away refreshed and well cared for. Our Garden View Luxury Villa was peaceful, nicely maintained, and just right for a relaxing escape. There was a misunderstanding that made the service a little rocky at first, but the staff soon turned things around and then everything went smoothly. Everyone we met was genuinely helpful and friendly, which added to the atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast at the resort were both excellent, full of flavor and served in a lovely setting. I’d recommend Exotica Resort to groups of friends after a laid-back tropical break with good food and service. I’d happily return for longer next time.

The staff, like the rest of Bintan locals, were warm and friendly. Be respectful and tip generously, they deserve it. Breakfast was simple but good enough, and I’d suggest cycling about 30 minutes to Pizza Casa Italia for a simple, tasty thin-crust lunch. There’s only one Tree House room. The bed is small and cosy, on the floor, and the room is above average for basic bed-and-breakfast needs. It suits people who don’t mind roughing it a little while still having some comforts, so fussy guests should choose another option. Cleanliness could be better, and since the room sits in mangrove trees, expect mosquitoes and tiny bugs. Use anti-mosquito lotion before bed.

The worst two-night stay. It felt like sleeping in the middle of the road because the room had no soundproofing, just earplugs. I also couldn’t sleep because bites left my whole body itching.
