The lobby looks nice, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Those were the only real upsides for me. We almost couldn't get our room because staff couldn't find the booking, though it was there all along. The corridor felt stuffy and smelled musty, and the toilet smelled too. Its sliding door wouldn't stay in place, so we had to wedge something against it. There was nowhere to hang a towel or hanger. Our sheets and towels had questionable marks, and rooms facing the main road get constant traffic noise.

We even got a discount on the price. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the food in Binjai was the best. Amazing stay.

The hotel's location gives easy access around Binjai, but the stay was a letdown. Our room was dirty and in really bad shape, we had to ask for fresh bed lining, and cockroaches were running in and out (see video). We booked a superior city-view room but were given a different one. They said there was nothing else available because the hotel was full, although there still seemed to be many empty rooms and almost no activity nearby. For that poor service and cleanliness, the room rate was far too expensive and not worth it.

The deluxe rooms face the main road, so traffic can make them noisy. Ask for one at the back if you want some peace and quiet. The room facilities are very basic, and breakfast is basic local food, though there is enough of it. I found the price a bit high. People call this the best hotel in Binjai, but to me it feels more like a 2 to 3 star place. Staying in Medan could be better if you don't mind the traffic there.

The location is really strategic, and the food is good. Their function room holds up to 500 people, so it can work well for events. It's the one and only 3 star hotel in Binjai.
